OUR PEOPLE

Among Norfolk’s greatest attributes is its large and highly skilled workforce of approximately 3,580 employees, across the 3 divisions. The skilled workforce includes more that 1,800 engineers, electricians, signalling and communications/data technicans, plumbers, apprentices and refrigeration and air conditioning technicians.

Norfolk employs the majority of its workforce directly rather than on a subcontract basis. This enables two key advantages:

• the ability of those workers to form strong relationships with customers, increasing the likelihood of repeat  business from a customer; and
• the retention and use by Norfolk of the skills and experience of its employees, developed during the execution of projects.
